Abstract

In this paper, the conception of micro forming and the size effect of micro forming are presented. The development of micro forming of thin metal sheet such as micro deep drawing, incremental forming, micro blanking and micro bending are overview covered. The authors' investigations in micro deep drawing are introduced briefly, developing direction and trend of micro forming technology of thin metal sheet are forecasted reasonably.
