Abstract
Based on manufacturing technology and throttling characteristics of MR material, non-dimensional parameters effected MR hydraulic characteristics were decided, and comparability theory of units(π theorem) was used to derive 8 comparability criterion of hydraulic characteristics for ring-like MR porous material: λ, Re, φ, dM/D, L/Di dM/ds, ρ/ρM r1/r2, which provided sufficient materials for experimental research. This work reduces the experimental work and it is valuable for the research of porous material.
