Abstract
In this paper the morphology Haar wavelet and mathematic morphology are integrated and employed to detect the Region-of-Interest (ROI) of the targets. An image is decomposed with morphology Haar wavelet first; then considering the feature of target ROI detection, new ROI detection operator is applied only in the field of the scale signals to complete the target ROI detection. Simulation results indicate that the proposed detection method can find complete target ROI detection with high detection ratio and low false alarm ratio. It can save both operation time and hardware, thus reduce the cost of the system.
