Abstract

In some applications like electric vehicles, the features of low DC voltage supply and high-current make the drive of permanent-magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) different from that of general-purpose inverters. This paper discussed the designs of the system structure, the power circuit topology, the EMC design and the isolated power supply circuit catering for the features, based on the DSP TMS320F2812 and some other core ICs like IR2110. The space-vector SPWM technique is used based on the digital angles from the resolver-to-digital circuit. And the floating IGBT drive circuit topology with negative bias is adopted to simplify the isolated power supply circuit.
