Abstract

The effects of over voltage, over current and surage impacts on the dynamic performance of induction machine were studied. The performance index representing thyristor's power loss was established by means of state space modeling tool. Taking advantage of impacts' restriction conditions, the idea that obtaining optimal parameter configurations through optimizing performance index in steady state was proposed. The simulation curves and actual waveforms show that this method significantly restrains impacts and reduces power loss.
