Abstract
In China, Digital electro-hydraulic (DEH) and Mechanical hydraulic control (MHC) exist together in primary frequency regulation loop in power system, so the DEH systems with high sensitivity has been placed dead bands as the same as MHC system. Considering dead band is a nonlinear part which makes the controlled objects changing, the PI controller parameters should be set by the method of nonlinear control .The influence of dead band on objects controlled by PI controller in secondary frequency regulation loop are analyzed in this paper. The Popov stability criterion has been used as the mathematical tool to select the PI parameters. At last, the influence of PI parameter deviation on frequency in electric power system is discussed.
