Abstract

According to microarc oxidation characteristics and energy-saving requirements, a square-wave pulse current source was designed. The main circuit uses a kind of unit-parallel structures. These units adopt the BUCK topology, the core component being IGBT. Inductance components were used to transform energy and so these units can output sharper pulse-form constant current. By applying buffer-type soft switching technology, security of switching component was increased, switching waste was reduced and the energy conversion efficiency was improved. PWM pulse high frequency modulation method was used and the peak, frequency and duty cycle of output pulse current can be regulated independently to meet the requirement of micro-oxidation process and load change.
