Abstract

A new type of differential game guidance law is proposed for the scenario of launching two defensive vehicles to intercept an attack vehicle in this article. First, according to the engagement scene, the relative motion equations of attack vehicle (A), defensive vehicle 1, 2 (D1, D2), and target (T) are established and linearized around the collision triangle based on assumptions. Secondly, the corresponding cost functions are given and the pursuit-evasion problem is transformed into linear quadratic differential game problem. Finally, an analytical solution to this problem is obtained and the guidance law is designed by the differential game theory. The effectiveness of the developed guidance law is verified by nonlinear simulations.
