Abstract

The automatic test system (ATS) is essential equipment for ensuring product quality, and the self-test of the ATS primarily depends on the product electrical simulator. Aiming at the verification requirements of the ATS and the large size of existing electrical simulators, this paper designs a miniaturized electrical simulator capable of simulating common electrical interfaces and electrical characteristics for comprehensive self-testing of the ATS. Using the FPGA core board MK7325FA as the control center, this paper carries out the hardware and firmware design of the electrical simulator, with an emphasis on introducing the design of the 1553B interface circuit and functional logic. Results indicate that the simulator can achieve electrical simulation and meet the selftesting needs of the ATS.
