Abstract

This paper introduces a novel artificial magnetic conductor which we called it, "2L-AMC" . The frequency bandwidth and resonance frequency of operation will be changed, if the 2L-AMC is placed normal to plane-wave incidence. All possible combinations of 2L-AMC structures including different thicknesses and permeabilities is considered and simulated with CST Microwave studio 2006 software. The results of simulations comply with the theory which is used for conventional AMCs. This novel structures can be used as same as conventional AMCs in all desired frequencies.
