Abstract

The development process of urban smart water network needs to rely on sensors along the line, but traditional batteries have shortcomings such as limited capacity and inconvenient replacement. In order to solve the problem of sensor power supply, 45mW micro-tubular water cooler is designed in this paper. The impeller is driven by water flow and the generator is driven by mechanical structure. According to the typical application at home and abroad, the mechanical structure of the pipe turbine is determined, the appropriate motor material is selected, and the electromagnetic structure of the motor is designed and optimized. Through finite element simulation, the no-load characteristics and external characteristics of the generator are analyzed. After optimization, the groove torque of the motor is 0.4mNm, the output torque is 7.2mNm and the rated power is 45mW. A prototype generator is manufactured, and the experimental results show that the back electromotive force of the generator under certain conditions accords with the simulation design.
