Abstract

This paper describes the design and implementation of RTU based on the embedded operation system μ C/OS-II and DSP. In hardware design, the DSP and CPLD technology is adopted to improve systemic integration degree and reliability. In software design, the operating system μ C/OS-II is adopted as the software development platform that can supply better portability and expansibility, as a result real-time response and reliability are enhanced further. The methods that how to port the μ C/OS-II to DSP and how to implement application programs are discussed in this paper.
