Design and Comparison of Multi-unit Primary Permanent Magnet Wave Generator

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

A primary permanent magnetic transverse flux linear wave generator (PPMTFLWG) is proposed, which can be used in marine meteorological observation stations, marine grazing land and other places that need low power supply. The generator has the characteristics of both transverse flux structure and permanent magnet machine, and has the advantages of decoupling of each phase, high thrust density and fast response speed. Based on the basic principle of PPMTF linear wave generator, its topological structure, electromagnetic characteristics and working principle are analyzed. Finally, the output characteristics of multi-unit and unit PPMTFLWG under no-load and load are compared.
