Abstract
Active power filter (APF) and passive filter (PF) combining to hybrid active power filter (HAPF) is the trend, which make up the inherent shortcomings of passive filtering devices and can make good use of the advantages of active power filters. This article makes researches on design of hybrid parallel active power filter, presents the detailed design method and the relation between inductor and dc-voltage. Meanwhile, this paper purposes two kinds of control strategies of HAPF for compensation current harmonic and damping voltage harmonic propagation, analyses its filtering and damping performance in detailed. In addition, generalized integrator is introduced to the control to improve the performance of HAPF. The experimental results validate that the hybrid active power filter has outstanding performance.
