Design and Analysis of a Free-Piston PM Linear Motor Considering the Influence of Processing and Assembly

Abstract

There are structural errors between the actual prototype and the ideal model due to the limitations of the processing and assembly technology. In this paper, the ideal situation and the actual processing situation under different design schemes are analyzed by finite element analysis. The influence of key parameters on average thrust is studied and the parameters are optimized. The electromagnetic performances of different schemes are compared and analyzed, and the optimal scheme is obtained.
