abstract = "This paper formulates the problem of recovering depth information of the scene from two defocused images as the minimization of the information divergence between the two measured defocused images based on geometric optics regularization. This geometric optics regularization term is attained according to different relative position of image plane and image focus. The experimental results show that the quality of the estimated depth is significantly better than that obtained without the geometric optics regularization.",
