Data grid service reliability analysis based on production and consumption model and slack time

Abstract

Considering insufficient studies on Data Grid Reliability (DGR), a Production and Consumption Model (PCM) was introduced and an Extended Slack Time Model (ESTM) was put forward. Theoretical proof showed that PCM made Data Service Reliability (DSR) far less than DGR, and ESTM further reduced DSR. DSR and DGR were compared in simulation experiment, and comparative analysis between theory and experiment was carried out. Results showed that the PCM and ESTM were correct and effective.
