Abstract

With the rapid development of computer network and information technology, information security has become an important issue in current information technology society. To address real needs in information security education, some colleges and universities have integrated computer security and network security lessons into their teaching curricula. We have introduced information security and assurance education architecture for different level students in the universities. The Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security (CERIAS) in Purdue is studied as a successful education case. An information security teaching and learning architecture is proposed to motivate the students' learning interests. System of Systems (SoS) method is used to build information security teaching system, teachers and students can do interactive learning activity by the system.
