Abstract
We successfully constructed coherent interfaces with minimal lattice mismatch in Bi2WO6/CoFe2O4 (CFO/BWO) magnetoelectric composite powders via a two-step calcining technique. The CFO particles were embedded uniformly inside BWO grains. The coherent interface inhibits the aggregation of CFO phases and the carriers caused by lattice mismatch, and it significantly stabilizes the dielectric properties of the composite sample at high temperature. Due to excellent insulation, the Curie temperature of CFO can be characterized in the temperature-dependent permittivity spectra of the composite sample at 532°C, which can not be observed in that of the pure CFO sample. The distinct small polaron conduction mechanism resulting from coherent.
