Abstract

The authors regret Dear Editor, I am writing to request a correction for my paper titled " [Novel Ti-based metallic glass coating free of toxic elements for bio-implant applications]" (published in Intermetallics 188 (2026) 109085). During a recent reorganization of our research data, I discovered that Figure [3] in the published version is incorrect. Due to a file naming confusion during the submission process, an image from a different batch of raw materials was inadvertently uploaded instead of the correct image corresponding to the sample described in this paper. I would like to emphasize that: 1. Figure [3] presents the characterization of the raw material (starting material). 2. The correct image (attached to this email) confirms the quality of the material used but does not alter any experimental results, discussions, or the main conclusions of the paper. To ensure the accuracy of the scientific record, I respectfully request to publish a Corrigendum to replace the incorrect Figure [3] with the correct version provided here.(Figure presented) The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
