Abstract

The authors regret that in the originally published article, the fluorescence microscopy images in Fig. 10(a) contained an inadvertent duplication introduced during figure assembly. Specifically, the representative fluorescence image for the “1-day PEO/UiO-66(Ce) + H2O2” group was mistakenly duplicated and used for the “1-day UiO-66(Ce)/Resin” group. These two groups were included primarily for qualitative comparison, and the day-1 antialgal results represent early-stage observations in the experimental cycle. The main conclusions of the study are based on the results obtained at day 3 and are supported by multiple independent lines of evidence (including antibacterial assays, HPO activity tests, and corrosion performance measurements). In addition, for each experimental condition, three fluorescence images were independently collected from different regions of the sample surface, and the coverage rates were calculated based on these independent images. Therefore, this correction does not affect the results, interpretation, or conclusions of the work. The corrected Fig. 10, containing the accurate representative fluorescence images, is provided below.[Figure presented] The original fluorescence microscopy images corresponding to the affected groups (three independent regions per group), together with the associated timestamps, have been provided to the editorial office to support transparency and reproducibility. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
