Abstract

The process of the corona polarization of fused silica was studied. The effect of the polarization condition of fused silica on the polarization result were comprehensively discussed, The nonlinear polarizability of polarized fused silica and its second-order harmonic generation characteristics were analyzed from the viewpoint of the structural symmetry of polarized fused silica. The experimental result is in agreement with the theoretical analysis.
