Contrast study of induced flow using different plasma simplified models

Abstract

Based on the different plasma simplified models, a contrast study of induced flow under a voltage of 5 kV was carried out. The results indicate that, the charge density was assumed to rely on the electric potential distribution directly in the first model, which causes the body force to be aggrandized, thus the induced flow velocity reaches 6 m/s. In the second model, the inside and outside electric field was summed and charge density was planed according to the experiment, the maximum induced velocity is only 1 m/s, which is close with the experimental result. While in the third model, it is not easy to select the reasonable parameters to linearize the electric-field intensity, the maximum induced velocity reaches 7 m/s, which is different from the experimental result.
