Abstract

With the development of social media and mobile computing technology, the past decade has witnessed tremendous growth in social images. Consequently, there has been an increasing interest in information retrieval and multimedia computing communities to study intelligent image retrieval techniques. In particular, image retrieval techniques [1, 2], where only an image is used as the query, are gaining importance due to a wide range of promising applications.
