abstract = "The overlong contact bounce time and poor consistency are common problems of railway relay series. Due to the low electromagnetic efficiency of the railway relay snap-on structure, the long reed size and the large number of contact sets, it is very difficult to design and optimize the contact bounce. Based on the concept of robust design, this paper proposes a reliability optimization method that reduces contact bounce time and improves its consistency at the same time. Firstly, an approximate mathematical model between the processing parameters and the contact bounce amplitude is established, combining with the simulation modeling method. On this basis, the objective function of reliability optimization is constructed with the purpose of simultaneously reducing the mean value and standard deviation. Finally, the correctness of optimization scheme is verified by prototype manufacturing and test.",
