Abstract
A high dimensional energetic complex [Co(OH-Tz)2(H2O)2]n was synthesis with tetrazole energetic ligand, and its single crystal structures were obtained. Compared with the previously reported complexes, it has higher density (ρ = 2.135 g·cm−3), higher energy level (D = 7.59 km·s−1) and thermal stability (Tdec = 271 ℃). In addition, the femtosecond laser and high-speed imaging results show that this compound is sensitive to laser stimulation, and under the stimulation of 808 nm femtosecond laser, the detonation process initiated by thermal mechanism can occur when the total laser energy is 224 mJ. Therefore, it is a potential environment-friendly laser detonating material.
