N2 - As is known to all, the construction project is an extremely complex process. Relying on the syndromes, such as many parties, a large amount of investment, long project cycle, and so on, the project management process has many difficulties. Therefore, information management has always been an important part of engineering project management. Based on the overall objectives and requirements of the project information management, this paper constructs a framework of engineering project information management model based on BIM technology. The model framework consists of three levels, user layer, application layer, and data layer. Each participant enters the management model through the user layer, then selects different applications, and accepts the model data provided by the data layer, so that they can achieve the corresponding target management finally.
