Abstract

We propose a self-assembly strategy to decorate water-phase exfoliated WS2 nanosheets with a small quantity of Ag nanoparticles. The whole process is facile, green, economic, and energy efficient. The resulting Ag/WS2 zero/two-dimensional hybrid architectures exhibit a remarkable synergy in high-rate lithium storage, which shows potentials for the practical applications of high power and energy density anodes of lithium-ion batteries.
