Constant pulse duration electro-optically cavity-dumped Ho:YAG laser

Abstract

We present a 4 ns constant-pulse-duration Electro-optically cavity-dumped Ho:YAG oscillator. The average power of 12.6W and the peak power of 31.5 kW were obtain at the repetition rate of 100 kHz, corresponding to the slope efficiency of 57.2% and beam quality factor of M2 ~1.1. The highest peak power was 310 kW at 10 kHz.
