Abstract

Starting from the prospective of low-carbon urban planning and relevant principles, based on Daqing Linyuan New Town Planning, the intensive industrial development and regeneration strategies of industrial towns in North China are stated systematically. Through the analysis of the interactive mechanism for industrial layout and urban spatial structure, an organic centralization and fusion & coexistence-based low-carbon urban planning pattern and an environment-related image creation strategy for garden-style industrial towns are presented.
