Abstract

In many of the rotor system, diaphragm coupling connects rotating shaft with the motor, transmission torque and compensation the corresponding displacement due to the misalignment. The diaphragm coupling stiffness is the important parameters of the research on the dynamic characteristics of the rotor system, also is the basis for the study of the rotor system dynamics. Now commonly diaphragm coupling stiffness simulation calculation method is default coupling stiffness and diaphragm numbers are linear relations, and the calculation of single diaphragm stiffness method for calculation of diaphragm coupling stiffness, ignoring the Influence of diaphragm coupling stiffness due to the interaction between the diaphragm. In this paper, the workbench software is used to calculate the diaphragm coupling stiffness though the empirical formula method, the single diaphragm linear superposition model, and the method of the diaphragm group, and the method of the diaphragm group has been verified to the obvious validity and feasibility on the diaphragm coupling stiffness, provides an important reference for the simulation calculation of the stiffness of the diaphragm coupling.
