Abstract

Today's regional freeway network's risk discrimination cannot represent the networks' safety situation from multiple scales and multi-level, so this paper presents a comprehensive risk discrimination of regional freeway network, which includes the freeway road section's comprehensive risk weighting and level of risk distinguish. The risks of the regional freeway network, such as the traffic accidents risk, traffic facilities risk, and terrible weather risk were combined with the expert scoring system to determine the weight factor of each risk in regional freeway network. Then, according to the risk types of different road sections (including the traffic accidents risk, traffic facilities risk, and terrible weather risk), and certain classification criterion to distinguish the level of risk into four grades, the comprehensive risk degree is gradually reduced from grade 1 to grade 4. Finally, integrated with the reality investigation data of Jilin Province freeway, this paper explored the high-risk list of Jilin Province freeway network, and provided relative prevention measures for relieving the high risk. The research will be helpful for the regional freeway network's risk analysis, evaluation, and prevention.
