Abstract
In order to effectively promote large-scale wind power integration, the economy of thermal power units which participate in cross-regional peak regulation market is compared under different market-incentive mechanisms. There are three different market-incentive mechanisms fixed compensation model, one-stage clearing market model and two-stage clearing market model. These three incentive mechanisms are described as different objective functions and constraint conditions. And one example of cross-regional peak regulation ancillary service market which consists of six thermal power units and one wind turbine is simulated. The results show that: the proportion of wind power connection in area with inadequate peak regulation resources can be improved by opening cross-regional peak regulation market. If combing cross-regional peak regulation market with multistage clearing market model, the enthusiasm of thermal power units to participate in peak regulation market will be higher.
