abstract = "Compared with active radar, passive radar has the characteristics of concealment and low cost. Since the 1990s, countries around the world have carried out extensive research on passive radar. However, there are few studies on Digital Video Broadcasting-Satellite (DVB-S) signals as non-cooperative radiation sources. In this paper, we analyze the model of passive radar system using DVB-S signals. Subsequently, we correct the range migration based on Radon-Fourier Transform (RFT). Finally, leveraging the characteristics of a single satellite equipped with multiple signal transponders, we introduce a coherent integration. We combine the output signals of each channel by compensating phase difference caused by the disparity of carrier frequencies to get a higher Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) than using only one channel. Additionally, we adopt hippopotamus optimization algorithm (HOA) to eliminate the residual phase error. By eliminating residual phase errors, higher SNR is achieved with HOA compared to multi-channel processing without such error correction. Our simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm.",
