Abstract

The rapid development of the domestic construction industry has derived a large number of issues of which the most serious one is the high-energy consumption, highlighting the large public buildings as the most prominent on this issue. With the climate adaptation of comptemporary sports center titled, the research of this article enphasizes on the leading role of climate during the process of sprots center desgin from the perspective of ecological design, propose suggestions and methods for improvements by discussing various aspects of ecological desgin, such as the overall layout of the sports center, venue form, and natural lighting and ventilation and so on, and explain in conjunction with design examples of sports centers to propose operable ecological design strategy for sprots centers.
