Abstract

All DC collection and transmission are increasingly popular for long-distance and high-power renewable power conversion. This paper presents a DC-DC converter tailored for high-voltage DC applications. Firstly, the topology and operation principle of the converter are described. Secondly, the circulating currents of the converter are analyzed and the model of circulating currents are elucidated. Next, the control strategy of the topology is designed to suppress the circulating currents. Finally, the analytical studies are verified by detailed simulations.
