Abstract
It was proved that velocity-dependent infinitesimal symmetry transformations of nonholonomic systems have a characteristic functional structure, which could be formulated by means of an auxiliary symmetry transformation function and is manifestly dependent upon constants of motion of the system. An example was given to illustrate the applicability of the results.
