Abstract

Based on the gap acceptance theory and probability method, the capacity calculating method of minor stream is deduced on the condition of two vehicle streams under ideal conditions. Then, by analysing the derivation the disadvantage of the ideal model, capacity model of the minor mixed traffic flow on the unsignalized intersection is set up using the theory of Markov stochastic processes. Therefore, the capacity theory of unsignalized intersection with mixed traffic stream is improved.
