Abstract

In order to accurately calibrate the high-order error model coefficients of accelerometer on precision centrifuge, the accelerometer's specific force must be accurately obtained. Based on the analysis of the influences of centrifuge's static and dynamic position & attitude errors on the gravity and centripetal accelerations of accelerometer's input axes, the actual input specific forces on three axes of accelerometer are accurately calculated out using the coordinate transform method. The accelerometer was fixed on the centrifuge in two opposite positions, and the centrifuge generates three different accelerations. Based on the measured output data of accelerometer, the calibration method of the high-order error model coefficients is given. This method has compensated the influences of centrifuge's dynamic radius errors, dynamic misalignment angle and Coriolis acceleration on the specific force precision, and improves the calibrating accuracy of the accelerometer's high-order error model coefficients. The other error model coefficients can be calibrated by changing fix mode.
