Abstract
Calculation formulas were obtained for determining bark s drying time in a fluidized bed boiler during constant rate period and falling rate period of drying. Also developed are the formulas for calculating the time required to raise a critical point temperature to an ignition temperature as well as to calculate the critical wet content. With a fluidized bed boiler serving as an example a calculation is conducted of bark's drying time.
