Calculation model of flexural capacity of normal section of the recycled concrete beam

Abstract

In order to treat the large waste concrecte caused by the Wenchuan Earthquake, the RC(recycled concrete) beam flexural capacity calculation formula with the recycled aggregate replacement rate was founded according to the Code for design of concrete structures. The M-ψ relation curves of the RC beams were calculated by the analyses of finite element method. The results showed that the results of calculation accorded well with the results of recycled concrete beam experiments all over the world. Variance Analysis proved that these two methods are both applicable. The research supplied much valuable references for the design of RC beam.
