Abstract

In this paper, the authors make an experiment to clear whether the Walker Plate can effectively protect the penetrated subject. When it comes to the experimental components, they choose some capacitors with 5 kV, 183μF constituting one capacitor bank; electrode plate is made of aluminum; a penetrator used in the trial is one experimental shaped charge projectile. After the general analysis and computations, some useful conclusions are obtained in the end.
