abstract = "This paper presents a multi-beam planar lens antenna based on frequency selective surface (FSS)operating at 6GHz. The proposed C-band multi-beam planar lens antenna exhibits the advantages of low profile and ease of manufacture, with good transmission characteristics at 6 GHz. A rectangular waveguide of 40.386mm×20.193mm is used as the feed. The gain of designed C-band multi-beam planar lens antenna reaches 14.4dBi, which shows an increment of 7.9dBi compared with the gain of rectangular waveguide. The simulation results confirm the wide-angle scanning properties of the proposed C-band multi-beam planar lens antenna in the ±30° range with gain scanning loss less than 0.6dBi.",
