title = "Boundary element analysis of geomechanical problems",
abstract = "This paper presents a new boundary element analysis to solve elastic problems in layered halfspace whose material interface is non-horizontal to the horizontal boundary surface. Generalized Kelvin solutions (or Yue{\textquoteright}s solutions) are applied as the fundamental solutions. Infinite boundary elements and Kutt{\textquoteright}s numerical quadrature are applied to solve the influence of the far-field areas and strongly singular integrals, respectively. Finally, numerical examples show the influence of material interface for the distributions of displacements and stresses.",
