Abstract

In this paper, boundary control theory is applied to a Boost three-level converter. A perfect state-energy plan is used to instruct the switching action, so that a switching surface is derived with superior performance. This controller can easily control the Boost three-level converter in the stability region with very small output voltage ripple. And the proposed controller can control the converter and revert to the ideal steady state in 0.05s, when it is disturbed.
