N2 - The novel algorithm of bistatic inverse synthetic aperture radar (Bi-ISAR) for maneuvering target with sparse aperture is proposed. The global minimum entropy algorithm and eigenvector method are used to obtain the high precision motion compensation. Then, the chirp-Fourier dictionary is constructed, and the modified orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP) algorithm is employed to solve the optimization problem to yield the high-resolution Bi-ISAR images. The simulation results are given to validate the performance of the presented algorithm.
