Bi-directional emission control with multilayered metaldielectric nanoantenna

Abstract

We propose an ultracompact plasmonic nanoantenna with tunable high directionality. The operating frequency of maximum forward and backward emission can be approximately predicted based on a Farby-Perot model of the gap surface palsmon polaritons.
