Abstract

This paper presents the main results of the research to explore the effect of recycled clay brick on performances of the concrete. Two water to cement ratio (W/C) of concrete in the test was designed to be 0.35 and 0.47. The replacement percentages of recycled clay brick were controlled to be 0, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%, by volume. Some conclusions have been found based on the results of experiment. Both the compressive strength and the flexural strength decreased with the increasing of recycled clay brick content. The permeability performance and the frost resistance became worse when the replacement percentage of recycled clay brick increased.
