title = "Beam Reconfigurable Antenna Based on Holographic Metasurfaces",
abstract = "In this paper, a beam reconfigurable antenna based on holographic metasurfaces is presented. Sinusoidally-modulated surface impedance is obtained on the holography metasurface to satisfy the requirement of the interference between the desired beam and the reference beam, and the surface impedance can be tuned by changing the bias voltage of varactor diodes loaded on the sub-wavelength unit cells, which directly results in the change of radiation angle. The simulation results shown that the radiation angle can cover the range from 32° to 67°, which is in accordance with theoretical results. The proposed holographic metasurfaces have great advantages in microwave devices due to the characteristics of beam steering and low-profile.",
