Abstract

The constitutive model and dynamic recrystallization behavior during thermal deformation of AZ80 magnesium alloy were investigated based on thermal compression testing. The effects of deformation parameters on the flow stress of AZ80 magnesium alloy were obtained by regression analysis on hyperbolic sine model, and the constitutive model of AZ80 alloy during thermal deformation was established. The relationship between critical strain of dynamic recrystallization and deformation parameters was described. Moreover, the dynamic recrystallization kinetic model was established based on the Avrami equation.
